Dr. Vinod Aatray graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors, from the faculty of dentistry, University of Toronto. Prior to his relocation to Canada, Dr. Aatray had completed his dentistry training from India and United Kingdom. His experience in dentistry spans over ten years along three continents. His experience at MediclinicInternational, a multispecialty hospital in Dubai enriched his international experience.
He distinguished himself while in dental school with the Award for Clinical Excellence. Dr.Aatray was one of the four students chosen, based on skills and knowledge, to the distinguished Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency at Saveetha University, India. Following the three-year residency, he was awarded the Master of Dental surgery degree in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. His performance in the residency program and written examinations,enabled him to be admitted into the Faculty of Dental surgery at the Royal college of physicians and surgeons of Glasgow, United Kingdom.
Dr. Aatray is very passionate about his profession. He loves the science of dentistry and has traveled all over the globe to continue his education and learn from the best in the field. He is certified to perform oral moderate sedation with Nitrous oxide (Laughing gas) which helps him cater to anxious patients.
He has undergone advanced training in dental implants and root canal treatment, which led to his acceptance into the Canadian academy of Endodontics. Only threeactive dentists in the country have attained this privilege. Dr. Aatray is an active member of the Canadian dental association, Academy of General dentistry and the Ontario Dental association.
Dr. Aatray is active in the community and organizes “Dentistry for all” a program designed to serve the under privileged. Dr. Aatray resides in Mississauga with his wife, Dr.Priya who works alongside him, and his son. He enjoys playing the guitar, piano and does music production as a hobby. Dr. Aatray enjoys reading and is an avid cyclist. He would also be happy to admit… he loves dentistry.

Dr. Priya is comfortable with all facets of general dentistry. She believes in minimally invasive, evidence-based dentistry. With this philosophy in mind, she provides custom treatment plans to address her patient’s individual oral health and preventative needs. She is committed to continuing dental education and strives to offer her patients the most current, highest standard of care. Patients love her calm demeanor and attention to detail.
